This is a WIP mod that increases the lot size limit in TS2 from 60x60 to 120x120, as seen on Castaway Stories.

The information below is included in a README file in the zip as the installation is pretty non-standard for a mod.

As promised, here are the newer RPC features for normal Sims 2 installs

Requires Mansion and Garden with a cracked Sims2EP9.exe

Download: SFS / Dropbox

Extract into your (Sims 2 Installation Directory)/Mansion and Garden/TSBin, or for UC users, Fun with Pets/SP9/TSBin.

By default, the .cfg is set up to vanilla TS2 settings. Feel free to adjust to your liking by editing the file with notepad.

Highest quality imposters might cause crashes on some computers. Try the Optimized setting (3)

It will also prevent “Too Many Iterations” errors and hides the version string that shows up when testingcheats is on.

This time it’s not an exe patch. Those were hard to maintain.

Update 12/14/20: Attempt to fix object error when cleaning up spoiled leftovers.

Update 12/11/20: Attempt to fix in-world dishes occasionally spawning on stacked dishes when cleaning up spoiled leftovers. 

Update 11/03/20: Made the clean up spoiled leftovers interaction display the actual stacked spoiled dishes you had in your fridge. Also updated the interaction string a lil bit.

A bit of an experimental mod that brings the leftovers system from TS2 more in line with those found in TS3 and TS4.
(I didn’t forget the download link this time, heh.)

Features:
-Food spoils while it’s in the fridge, although at a slower rate. Takes 72 hours (or 3 days) by default. And no, you can’t reset the timer by taking it out of the fridge.
-You can’t keep an unlimited amount of leftovers anymore, capped at 5 by default.
-While spoiled leftovers don’t show up in the “Get Leftovers” menu, they still take up space, so you need to get rid of them.
-Should work with all fridges, including CC ones.

Due to limitations with BHAV programming, it will also conflict with mods that add or remove leftovers on their own.

Tuning:
-You can change how many hours food takes to spoil in the fridge by modifying the BCON entry in “ld_leftovers_tracker.package” with SimPE.
-Change the maximum amount of stored leftovers and of stacked spoiled dishes when cleaning up in “ld_leftovers.package”.

Troubleshooting:
-If you get an error please send the log my way and steps on how to reproduce it, I had to do a lot of workarounds to get this to work and while I tested it thoroughly myself, it might go wrong.
-Reloading the lot should get rid of problematic leftovers.
-Removing the mod is safe.

Any leftovers you already had in your fridge in your save will get wiped upon loading with this mod for the first time. I may update this mod further as I sometimes do.

I’ve decided to finally upload TimeSync as a standalone package separate from Story Progression, so that you don’t have to join the Discord or download the whole thing if you just want this part of the mod.

Features:

- Synchronizes time and season quadrant between all lots and subhoods.

- If you’re away at a community lot Sims left at home will still go to work and get paid.

- Needs change depending on the time when you come back to a family as not to ruin sleep cycles.

A small little mod that lets children get cereal from Maxis fridges, instead of having to resort to snacks all the time.

This is a really quick shader modification that turns the blobby outdoor shadows into soft ones, like in the family portrait and indoors. Cool for general gameplay and pretty screenshots if you can’t stand the default shadows like me.

It was made on Mansion & Garden but i believe it could work on other versions this time around.

Place it into your Downloads folder; It’s a normal mod this time :)

There’s an issue, that is sadly not fixable though:
Sim and object shadows overlap with each other now.

I’m using Gunmod’s Radiance Light System on all of these screenshots, highly recommend it.

This mod fixes a number of annoying lot lighting quirks, such as seams around the edges of the lot terrain* and lighting on snow.

Make sure you’ve fixed your Graphics Rules and enabled shaders, otherwise the mod won’t work.

Installation Instructions:

I’ve included different versions compatible with the same lot water mods as @dreadpirate​’s Shader Fixes, and versions compatible with Shader Fixes if you don’t want the blue snow inside of the “DreadPirate Shader Fixes” folder.

Remove your lot water packages to avoid conflicts, and only pick one package.

This teeny tiny mod will stop the butler from repeatedly jump bugging and throwing a “Error: Trying to access array element via iterator that does not exist.” error when he’s trying to cook. So if this has happened to you… Here it is. 

Consider this more of an error suppression thing rather than an actual fix, this was just bothering me so much I had to make a quick patch.
