a.k.a. Faster University

This mod makes university degrees require less credits. Made for people who play shorter lifespans or just can't be arsed to play through 4+ Sim weeks of uni.

There are 10 files below, covering any amount of credits between 2 and 11 credits. For comparison, the default in-game credit requirement is 12 credits.

Depending on the shorter version flavour you use, you can easily cut your degree length by half or more. I personally use/recommend the 8 credit flavour if you play on longer lifespans like me, but I added the others so that you can better suit this mod to your gameplay needs.

Suggestions for use:

(Please note that these are inspired by my own experiences of doing my undergrad at British university, which follows a 3-year course)

• 11 credits = 4 weeks; 2 classes for weeks 1-2, 3 classes for week 3, 4 classes for week 4 (emulates a foundation year or American uni, plus the added workload of a dissertation)

• 10 credits = 3 weeks; 3 classes for weeks 1-2, 4 classes for week 3 (emulates the added workload of a dissertation)

• 9 credits = 3 weeks, 3 classes per week

• 8 credits = 3 weeks; 3 classes for weeks 1-2, 2 classes for week 3 (emulates less classes, more extracurriculars/placements in final year)

• 7 credits = 3 weeks; 3 classes in week 1, 4 classes in week 2 (emulates the added workload of a dissertation)

• 6 credits = 3 weeks, 3 classes per week

• 5 credits = 2 weeks; 2 classes in week 1, 3 classes in week 2 (emulates the added workload of a dissertation)

• 4 credits = 2 weeks, 2 classes per week

• 3 credits = 1 week, 3 classes (emulates postgrad, conversion course, or PGCE-QTS)

• 2 credits = 1 week, 2 classes (emulates postgrad, conversion course, or QTS)
